Learning Support Assistant - Wiltshire

We're looking for Learning Support Assistants across Wiltshire to join specialist SEMH schools, alternative learning provisions and residential schools. These roles suit someone who's practical, level-headed and able to build rapport quickly - especially with young people who respond best to consistency, clear boundaries and a grounded approach.

The Role - Learning Support Assistant
You'll be:

  • Supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs
  • Guiding young people through both structured learning and practical, hands-on activities
  • Providing a strong, steady presence in lessons, around the school and during outdoor tasks
  • Working within a supportive team that values resilience, teamwork and reliability

Settings include:

  • SEMH schools
  • Alternative Learning Provisions (ALPs)
  • Residential education settings
  • Pupil Referral Units (PRU)
