Primary Teacher - Year 5 (Long-Term Role, January-May 2026)

Location: Wigan

Contract: Full-time, Temporary

Daily Rate: £130-£210 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Year 5 Primary Teacher for a highly regarded and popular primary school in Wigan. This full-time, long-term position begins in January and will run until May 2026.

In this role, you will have the full support of a knowledgeable and experienced full-time Teaching Assistant, helping to create a positive, productive, and well-structured learning environment. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.

The ideal candidate for this teacher role will:

  • Have qualified teacher status with QTS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
