Contract: Full-time, term-time only

About the Role
As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that practical science lessons run smoothly and safely across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if applicable). You will work closely with teachers to prepare equipment, set up experiments, maintain laboratories, and support students in developing a love for science.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, set up, and clear away materials and equipment for practical lessons
Provide technical support during lessons when required
Maintain and organise laboratories, prep rooms, and equipment
Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations
Manage stock levels, order supplies and assist with departmental administration
Support teachers in developing engaging practical activities and demonstrations

Has good knowledge of laboratory procedures and health & safety practices
