A high-performing secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to begin in January 2026, with the role continuing until July 2026.
Your responsibilities:
- Supporting learners in lessons, particularly in core subjects
* Providing targeted intervention for pupils needing additional support
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
* Helping supervise students during non-classroom times such as break and lunch
The ideal candidate:
- Has a genuine interest in supporting students
* Is confident working with a diverse school community
* Brings transferable experience from tutoring, youth work, coaching, etc.
* Can commit for the full duration of the school year
