Learning Support Assistant (Secondary Schools - Southwark)
Full-time | Term-time | Multiple Schools Recruiting

As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of learning needs, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small-group support to students who require additional help

  • Assisting teachers in creating an engaging and accessible learning environment

  • Helping students develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits

  • Collaborating with teaching staff, SEN teams and wider school personnel

  • Supporting behaviour that promotes a calm and focused classroom

We are looking for:

  • Individuals who are patient, proactive and committed to supporting young people

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students

  • A genuine interest in education and inclusive learning

  • Previous experience in an educational, youth work or support role is beneficial but not essential
