SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools (Greenwich)
Full-time | Term-time only

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a range of progressive and inclusive secondary schools across Greenwich.

In this role, you will support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and pastoral teams to ensure every learner receives the personalised support they deserve.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN

  • Helping to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Working collaboratively with teachers to deliver tailored interventions

  • Building strong, supportive relationships with students

We're looking for:

  • Individuals who are patient, resilient and committed to helping young people succeed

  • Experience working with SEN (in school, care or youth settings) - desirable but not essential

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A proactive and compassionate approach
