DT Teacher
A successful and well-regarded boys' secondary school in West London is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join their DT Department. The school is looking for someone to start ASAP on a long-term basis, with the potential to extend for the right candidate. This is a full-time position, and the school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with a passion for practical and creative learning. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and staff benefit from on-site parking. Salary will be paid according to the London MPS/UPS scale.
DT Teacher - West London
* Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3-KS4, covering materials, practical skills, design processes, and problem-solving.
* Teach in a well-equipped workshop environment, ensuring safe and effective use of tools and machinery.
* Encourage creativity, innovation, and resilience through hands-on project work and structured design tasks.
* Support students' technical understanding, independent thinking, and ability to develop high-quality design outcomes.
* Contribute to departmental planning, extracurricular clubs, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.
