English Teacher

A thriving and high-performing girls' secondary school in West London is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their accomplished English Department. The school is looking for someone to start ASAP on a long-term basis, with the potential to continue depending on staffing needs. This is a full-time role, and the school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and strong early-career teachers with a genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language. Working hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and staff benefit from convenient on-site parking. Salary will be paid in line with the outer London MPS/UPS scale.


English Teacher - West London

* Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3-KS5, covering literature, language, reading, and writing skills.
* Foster critical thinking, creativity, and articulate expression through discussion, analysis, and collaborative learning.
* Support students of all abilities, helping them develop confidence and competence in both written and spoken English.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and intellectual ambition.
* Contribute to curriculum development, enrichment activities, and whole-school literacy initiatives.
