Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

  • Location: Banstead, Surrey
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Start time: 8:30am arrival
  • FTE Salary: £25,001
  • Pro Rata Salary: £20,910.76
  • Pay Range: GLF Associate Grade 3.1
  • Hours: 35 hrs per week Monday - Friday 8.00am - 15.30pm (Term time 39 weeks)

Tradewind is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing individual to join the Nursery at an Infants and Juniors School, with a vibrant and welcoming team, on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

If you're a passionate Educator with a committment to supporting children age 0 - 3 years in such a key part of their development, as they learn and grow more than ever, we would love to hear from you. This role is best suited to a Nursery Practitioner who has completed a Level 3 qualification in childcare, but we are open to applicants with experience only.

What we are looking for

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
  • Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
  • Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
