An Outstanding primary school in Mossley, Tameside is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This inclusive three-form entry school offers excellent SEN provision, including a specialist on-site unit and access to a range of therapy services.
You will be working closely with a small group of pupils with speech and language difficulties, providing tailored support to help develop their communication skills and overall learning. Role Responsibilities
Provide targeted support to pupils with speech and language needs
Implement strategies recommended by speech therapists and the SENCO
Support pupils' learning in class and through small-group intervention sessions
Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils to boost confidence and engagement
Requirements
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly speech and language needs
Strong communication skills and a proactive, patient approach
Right to work in the UK
A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
