Salary: £150-£250 per day PAYE.

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a committed and resilient SEND Teacher to join a highly supportive Secondary SEMH School in Enfield from January 2026.

This specialist school supports pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD and a range of complex behavioural challenges. The school follows a therapeutic and relationship-based approach, creating a safe, structured and nurturing environment where pupils can rebuild trust, develop emotional regulation skills and re-engage with learning.

About the Role:
As an SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for small classes

  • Use trauma-informed and attachment-aware strategies to support pupils

  • Create personalised learning plans tailored to students' academic and emotional needs

  • Work closely with Behaviour Mentors, LSAs and the SENDCo to ensure consistent support

  • Build strong, positive relationships that inspire confidence, resilience and progress

  • Contribute to a collaborative, reflective and forward-thinking staff team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

  • Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs or additional SEND

  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills (Team Teach is highly desirable)

  • A calm, compassionate and adaptable approach

  • A passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
