Introduction

The school is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their Upper Key Stage 2 team on a part-time basis. The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching a warm, engaged and hardworking Year 6 class
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the UKS2 curriculum
  • Preparing pupils for SATs with a calm, supportive and structured approach
  • Working closely with the parallel Year 6 teacher to share planning and resources
  • Tracking progress, completing assessments and contributing to pupil reports
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive and calm classroom environment
  • Communicating effectively with parents and staff
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school on your working days
