CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

HOURS: Full Time or Part Time

START DATE: JANUARY 2026/ Negotiable

SALARY: MPS/UPS Outer London Pay Scale + TLR

Tradewind Recruitment are excited to be working with a Croydon secondary school in their recruitment of a talented Science teacher to join a supportive Science department. ECT's and experienced Science practitioners are encouraged to apply for this position.

The successful Science teacher will be well-qualified with QTS or an equivalent overseas qualification and be a highly motivated individual who, as an enthusiastic and dynamic professional, is committed to delivering success. You will be passionate about Science teaching and have a resolve to make a real difference to the school's pupils and will be able to plan and deliver interesting and stimulating Science lessons. Setting a level of challenge for all abilities across all key stages within lessons and the thriving extracurricular activities already on offer will be of importance to you. Ideally, you will have the ability to teach to KS 5 Physics and KS 4 Biology as the timetable is weighted towards those subjects however, the school are happy to consider other areas within Science.
