Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join one of our highly supportive partner schools in Corby. This role involves working closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including complex autism, physical disabilities, sensory needs, communication difficulties, and medical conditions that may require additional support throughout the school day.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will be working alongside experienced staff, specialist teams, and classroom teachers to provide tailored support, promote independence, and ensure every student has access to a positive and inclusive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with complex autism, including help with communication, emotional regulation and structured routines

  • Providing physical assistance to students with mobility or physical disabilities (training provided where required)

  • Offering support to pupils with medical needs, following agreed care plans and working collaboratively with onsite medical staff

  • Assisting the teacher with differentiated learning materials and classroom management

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress

  • Promoting an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment
