Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the OL2 (Royton) area of Oldham.

About the Role

  • Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

  • Location: Primary School in Royton, Oldham (OL2)

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SEND pupils in the classroom and through targeted interventions

  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual learning plan targets

  • Encourage children's progress, independence, and confidence

  • Contribute to creating an inclusive, positive learning environment

About You

  • Essential Qualification: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Experience: Proven experience supporting SEND children in a Primary School setting

  • Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
