£95+ per day (PAYE) - Lambeth

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a reliable, confident and committed SEMH Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time position in a primary school in the London Borough of Lambeth. This role requires consistency, strong behaviour support skills and the ability to build trust with pupils who present with social, emotional and mental health needs.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and pastoral team to provide structured, calm and deliberate support. The school is well-led, clear in expectations and committed to ensuring that every child can access learning. This post is suited to someone who is steady, practical, and ready to contribute to a professional, purposeful environment each day.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs

  • A firm but supportive approach to behaviour

  • Ability to follow direction and uphold school policies

  • Strong communication skills and dependable attendance

This is a long-term role with immediate start available. All pay is via PAYE.

  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS
