Tradewind are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher for a highly regarded and popular primary school in Leigh. This long-term role will involve teaching five days per week, starting in January and continuing until May 2026.

With a strong focus on preparing pupils for a smooth transition into Secondary education, the school provides a safe, happy, and well-disciplined learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative Senior Leadership Team, along with a staff community who work closely together and maintain excellent relationships with parents and the wider community. The school is known for its warm atmosphere, high standards, and dedication to pupil wellbeing.

The ideal candidate for this teacher role will:

  • Have qualified teacher status with QTS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
