Tradewind are looking for Early years Practitioners, Special support Assistants and Nursery Practitioners!

Location: Opportunities across various Nurseries and Primary Schools across Westhoughton, Wigan and Leigh

Start Date: January 2026

Contract Type: Various options available - Full-Time, Part-Time, Term-Time

Salary: £13.75-£16.50ph

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our network of vibrant nurseries and primary schools across Wigan, Leigh and Westhoughton as Early Years Assistants! This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to embark on a career as an EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA), Early Years Teaching Assistant (EY TA), or Nursery Practitioner. You will be placed at a setting local to you that matches your availability and professional development plan.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need :

  • NVQ level 2 qualification
  • Experience of working with Early Years children
  • SEN experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
