Primary Teacher - Year 4

Location: Wigan

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (January-May 2026)

Daily Rate: £130-£210 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pm

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled Year 4 Primary Teacher for a highly regarded and popular primary school in Wigan. This full-time, long-term role will commence in January and run through to May 2026.

In this role, you will work closely with a knowledgeable and experienced full-time Teaching Assistant who will provide consistent classroom support. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and impactful lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring that all pupils are appropriately supported, motivated, and challenged.

The successful candidate will bring strong classroom management skills, a passion for helping pupils reach their full potential, and the ability to contribute positively to the wider school community.

The ideal candidate for this teacher role will:

  • Have qualified teacher status with QTS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
