Teaching Assistant - Year 3 & Year 5 - Harrow, North West London
Location: Harrow, North West London
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only (January Start - July, with potential to go permanent)
Hours: 8:15am - 4:00pm (3:00pm finish on Fridays)
Salary: £95 per day initially

A high-performing and friendly primary school in Harrow is looking for a dynamic and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from January until July, with the strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. This is a general classroom support position split across Year 3 and Year 5, working with pupils across the curriculum and helping to maintain an engaging and purposeful learning environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant in Harrow, you will:
Provide general classroom support in Year 3 and Year 5, helping pupils fully engage in lessons
Work with children 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce learning and support progress
Assist with classroom activities, preparation of resources, and behaviour support
Supervise pupils during break and lunch times
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere that enables all learners to thrive
Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and school leaders
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with primary-aged children
Is enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable
Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team
Can confidently support learning in Key Stage 2
Is dedicated to helping children achieve their best academically and socially
