Salary: Up to £223.56 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Male PE Teacher looking for a new long-term opportunity in a high-performing Halton secondary school? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education to join a supportive, forward-thinking PE department from January, covering a long-term staff absence until at least Easter.

The Role

  • Teaching Boys' PE across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire participation and progress

  • Supporting a well-organised and collaborative PE department

  • Contributing to extracurricular sport, fixtures and enrichment activities

  • Providing general cover across the curriculum when required

  • Upholding the school's values of respect, aspiration, resilience and community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Specialism in Physical Education

  • Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4

  • Ability to engage, motivate and inspire secondary pupils

  • A strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
