Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to be working with a warm and welcoming Catholic Primary School in Waltham Forest, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their reception class team from January 2026. This full-time role involves providing 1-1 support for two children with EHCPs during the mornings, and also supporting the whole class as for the afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-1 support each morning for two Reception children with EHCPs
• Follow tailored support plans and work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
• Use supportive and engaging strategies to help children feel confident and ready to learn
• Encourage positive behaviour, communication, and interaction
• Assist with early years learning activities and classroom routines

• Confidence working within an early years setting
• Ability to build strong relationships with young learners
