Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Southwark)
Full-time | 5 days per week | Term-time

Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive both academically and emotionally? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to work full-time across a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools in Southwark.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is confident, resilient, and committed to making a genuine difference in students' lives. You will play a key role in helping students overcome behavioural, social, and emotional barriers to learning, while being part of a school environment that values staff development and progression.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support to students.

  • Support pupils in managing behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.

  • Work closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads to implement behaviour strategies.

  • Act as a positive role model, building strong and trusting relationships with students.

  • Support students both in and out of the classroom, including during transitions and unstructured times.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people in a secondary school, youth work, mentoring, or similar setting.

  • A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for inclusion and supporting students with diverse needs.

  • Ability to work full-time, 5 days per week.
