Pay: £110 - £130 per day
Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), January 2026 - July 2026

Science Technician - Westminster Secondary School | January 2026

A high-achieving secondary school in Westminster is seeking an experienced Science Technician to provide laboratory support from January 2026, on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating practical science preparation across departments
• Supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers
• Overseeing lab safety, COSHH compliance, and risk assessments
• Ordering and managing equipment and chemical stock
• Mentoring junior technicians (where applicable)

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician in a secondary school
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Right to work in the UK
• Professional references
