KS2 Classroom Teacher - Full Time (January Start)
Location: Lytham - seeking candidates from Lytham/ St Annes/ Freckleton/Warton and Kirkham.
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary until July 2026

Tradewind Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher for a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Lytham. We are seeking candidates from Lytham and surrounding area's who can access this school. This is a full-time temporary position starting in January and continuing through to July 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive school community on a long-term basis.
About the Role
The successful KS2 Teacher will:
Teach a Key Stage 2 class full time, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with school expectations
Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
Work collaboratively with phase leaders, teaching assistants, and colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, planning, and school events

What We're Looking For
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Recent teaching experience in a UK primary school
Confident classroom management skills
A positive and proactive approach to teaching and school involvement
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK

Hours: Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
