Are you looking for a rewarding role in education that fits around your lifestyle? We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support local primary schools across South Birmingham from January 2026.
Your Role:
- Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups (1:1 and intervention work).
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
- Adapting quickly to different school environments and student needs.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience working with children in a UK school or care setting.
- Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) is preferred but not always essential for entry-level roles.
- Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and a "can-do" attitude to hit the ground running.
