About the Role

As a Graduate Teacher on the programme, you will work in secondary schools supporting teaching and learning while developing the skills needed to succeed in the classroom. Your role will include:

  • Supporting teachers during lessons across a range of subjects

  • Working with small groups or individuals to reinforce learning

  • Delivering pre-planned activities under teacher guidance

  • Developing confidence in behaviour management and classroom presence

  • Gaining exposure to different departments before choosing a specialism

About the Graduate Teacher Programme

The Tradewind Graduate Teacher Programme is a structured and supported pathway into teaching, designed to help graduates transition confidently into education. The programme includes:

Who We're Looking For

  • Graduates with a degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred)

  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people

  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and a positive attitude

  • A willingness to learn and develop in a school environment

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
