We are seeking a motivated and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in the Hounslow/Chiswick area. The role is due to start in January and will be a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a DT specialist who is passionate about practical learning and student progress.

Design & Technology Teacher - West London

  • Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging creativity, innovation and technical skills.

  • Plan and teach lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities, ensuring excellent progress and outcomes.

  • Maintain a safe, well-organised workshop and classroom environment in line with health and safety requirements.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and uphold its ethos and high standards.

Qualifications and Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Design & Technology or a related subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering practical lessons

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Enthusiastic, professional and committed to student success
