Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching or education? Secondary schools in Richmond upon Thames are working with Tradewind Recruitment to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Cover Supervisors from February 2026.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before starting teacher training or pursuing a long-term career in education. You will supervise classes across a range of subjects, deliver pre-planned lessons, and help maintain a focused and positive learning environment.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
- Delivering pre-set lesson materials across KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students with their learning and engagement
- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
We're Looking For Graduates Who:
- Hold a degree in any subject
- Are confident, professional, and enthusiastic
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Are reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn
- Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
- Have an up-to-date DBS (or are willing to apply)
