Job Description

Location: Barking and Dagenham
Contract: Full-time | Permanent

An alternative provision is looking for a passionate SEMH Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative, accessible lessons to small classes

  • Implement behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies

  • Support pupils' academic and emotional development

  • Liaise with pastoral staff and external agencies

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience in PRU, SEMH, or alternative provision preferred
