We are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a January 2026 start. The Role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities available)
Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, environments, and global issues
Use creative teaching approaches to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, population, and urban change to life
Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support learners of all abilities
Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities, fieldwork opportunities, and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a Geography specialism
Strong subject knowledge and a confident, positive classroom presence
An innovative, reflective approach to teaching and learning
A commitment to inclusion, high expectations, and student progress
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
