Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Wembley

Location: Wembley, North West London
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Term-time

A welcoming and inclusive school in Wembley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across the classroom and help remove barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils in class, either one-to-one or in small groups

  • Assisting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs

  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support

  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Encouraging independence, engagement, and confidence in learners

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
