Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a range of secondary schools across Merton to recruit enthusiastic day-to-day supply teachers from February 2026.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexible, short-term cover work, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while gaining experience across a variety of school environments.
Your role will include:
- Providing day-to-day classroom cover across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupil progress
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Offering feedback to permanent staff when required
We're looking for:
- QTS with recent UK secondary classroom experience
- Confidence adapting quickly to new schools and year groups
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and positive student outcomes
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
