Food Technician - Secondary Schools (Croydon)
Full-time | 5 days per week
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Technician to work across a number of secondary schools in the Croydon area. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about supporting high-quality Food Technology education in a practical, well-resourced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing ingredients, equipment, and materials for Food Technology lessons
Supporting teachers during practical sessions to ensure lessons run smoothly and safely
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe food technology environment
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and monitoring equipment
Ensuring health and safety and food hygiene standards are consistently met
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience working in a food preparation, school, or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
Has a good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Is organised, proactive, and able to work independently
Enjoys working with young people and supporting their learning
Is reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
