Job Title: SEND Teacher - Resource Provision (ARP)

Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (PAYE)
Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with a well-established Primary School in Hillingdon to recruit an experienced SEND Teacher for their Specialist Resource Provision (ARP), starting January 2026.
This role is ideally suited to a teacher who has previous experience working within an ARP or specialist SEND provision and is confident taking a lead role within a highly structured, small-group environment. The provision supports pupils with complex needs through intensive, personalised teaching and a high staff-to-pupil ratio.
The unit consists of three small classes, each supporting up to three pupils, with the support of a strong team of five Teaching Assistants. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for leading learning within the provision, setting high expectations, and ensuring consistency in practice across the team.
The Role:
You will be expected to:
Lead teaching and learning within a specialist ARP setting
Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes
Confidently manage and direct a team of Teaching Assistants
Create a structured, calm and predictable learning environment
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Work closely with the SENCO and external professionals to implement support strategies
Use adaptive and trauma-informed approaches to meet complex needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
Proven experience teaching in an ARP, SEND school or specialist provision
Confidence leading a class team and overseeing day-to-day provision
Strong understanding of SEND frameworks, EHCPs and personalised learning
A calm, consistent and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning
Excellent communication and leadership skills
