About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced Outdoor Educator looking for a new challenge within a classroom setting? We are seeking a resilient and adaptable professional to work across secondary schools in Blackpool. This role is perfect for someone who can utilise the unique leadership and discipline of outdoor education to manage and inspire students in a traditional classroom environment.

The Role
As an Outdoor Educator / Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of lessons when regular teachers are absent. You will not just "sit in" you will lead, using your unique background to build rapport and maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management: Oversee and deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring a seamless experience for pupils across various subjects.
Transferable Leadership: Apply the discipline and authority gained from outdoor instruction to maintain high standards of classroom behaviour.
Student Support: Serve as a positive role model and point of contact for students, addressing enquiries and providing support where needed.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and school protocols to ensure a secure learning environment.

Requirements
Experience: Proven background in outdoor education, coaching, or youth leadership.
Communication: Clear, warm, and approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills
Safeguarding: Must hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications: A good standard of education (GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English) and a full UK driving licence.
