Are you a TEFL-qualified teacher looking to move into UK schools? Have you taught English abroad or in language centres and are now keen to gain classroom experience in a secondary school setting?
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting TEFL and ESL / EAL teachers to work in secondary schools across Cheltenham and Gloucester in English cover teaching and Cover Supervisor roles. These positions are ideal for candidates who have experience teaching English to non-native speakers and are looking to transition into mainstream education or explore a future career in teaching.
You will be supporting students in lessons, delivering pre-set work, and helping pupils develop their confidence and understanding of English in a structured school environment.

Key Details:
* Opportunities available ASAP
* Short-term, long-term and ongoing roles available
* English cover teaching and Cover Supervisor positions
* Working hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday
* Pay rates between £130-£200 per day, depending on experience
* Flexible working patterns: 3-5 days per week
* Excellent stepping stone into long-term teaching roles or teacher training

This Role Would Suit Someone Who:
* Has experience teaching TEFL / ESL / EAL
* Is interested in working with young people aged 11-16
* Feels confident managing a classroom and engaging learners
* Can clearly explain tasks and support students with literacy
* Is adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about working in schools
* Wants to build experience in UK secondary education

Essential Criteria:
* TEFL, CELTA, TESOL or equivalent qualification or relevant English teaching experience
* A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to apply - we can support you)
* Ability to provide professional references
* CV covering the last 10 years of work history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
