School Receptionist - Secondary School | Salford
£90-£100 per day | Immediate Start
Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a friendly and well-run Secondary School in Salford that is looking to appoint an experienced School Receptionist to join their administrative team as soon as possible.
This is a key front-facing role within the school, ideal for someone who is confident, organised and experienced in working within an education environment. You will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, ensuring the school operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Important - Essential Criteria
Only applicants with previous experience working in a school or education setting will be considered.
This is essential due to safeguarding requirements and the need for familiarity with school systems and procedures.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the school reception area and welcoming visitors
Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner
Dealing with parent and pupil enquiries effectively
Supporting attendance, data entry and general administration
Liaising with teaching staff, senior leaders and external professionals
Ensuring safeguarding and sign-in procedures are followed at all times
The Ideal Candidate
Has prior experience working in a school or education setting (essential)
Is confident working in a busy secondary school environment
Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
Has good IT skills and experience using school systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom)
Understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding
What's on Offer
Competitive daily rate of £100 - £110, depending on experience
