Tradewind Recruitment are collaborating with a school that are seeking a full-time English Teacher that is available for a maternity cover starting 1st March 2026 - 1st March 2027. The school is located on the outskirts of Scunthorpe, accessible by bus/car.

Please see the responsibilities and duties of the position:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in KS3 - KS4 English.
  • Deliver 2 PSHE classes a week.
  • Facilitate a reading group that is self-led by pupils.
  • Contribute positively to the English department.
  • Build strong and professional relationships with pupils and staff.

As the role involves planning and marking, you will be paid to your scale which varies between £168.80 - £232.56.
