Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich (Fully accessible by Local Public Transport or Car)
Year Group: Supporting pupils EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday term time only
Pay: £90 - £110 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: 02/11/2026

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of Primary Schools in Greenwich who are seeking committed Primary Teaching Assistants to cover a range of roles including 1:1 TA roles, Learning Mentor role and General Class TA roles.
These are great opportunities for experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants who wish to to make a difference in the development and learning of pupils.
Skills and Qualities
Experience supporting children (Within any education setting or working environment)
Knowledge of differentiation and adaptive support.
Understanding of emotional regulation and behaviour support.
Patience and strong communication skills.
Flexible and committed.
Desirable: Phonics or Read, Write Inc experience
Requirements
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
Two professional references from the last two years.
Up to date CV with full employment history.
Relevant work experience with children.
