Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant

Our client Primary School in Oldham is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment, committed to delivering high-quality education and care for every child. With the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at the heart of the school, they are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and vibrant team.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support children's learning, development, and well-being within EYFS. You will work closely with the Early Years team to create a nurturing, engaging environment where young learners can thrive during these crucial early stages of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support for children in EYFS

  • Assisting with learning activities that promote development through play

  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication skills

  • Preparing and maintaining learning resources and classroom environments

  • Observing and recording pupil progress and feeding back to the class teacher

  • Supporting the implementation of individual learning plans

  • Assisting with lunchtime supervision and outdoor play activities

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting

  • A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • A nurturing, patient approach and a genuine passion for supporting young children

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
