Are you an Early Years specialist who isn't afraid to get your hands dirty? Do you believe that the best learning often happens in the middle of a mud kitchen or a glitter explosion?

We are seeking an intuitive, high-energy EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Academy in Blackpool. This is an environment built on the wholehearted pursuit of excellence, and we need a consistent, full-time professional to provide stability and drive progress as we head toward the 2026 assessment season.

Our Vision & Values:

We are looking for a candidate who embodies our Academy's core philosophy. We take immense pride in our school and foster an atmosphere of respect and integrity. We strive to provide a safe, stimulating, and exciting environment where all learners are encouraged to develop:

  • Resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Lively and enquiring minds capable of independent thought.
  • Self-discipline and self-confidence to prepare them for future happiness and success.

The Role:

This isn't a role for someone who likes to sit on the sidelines. We need a "get up and go" character who anticipates the needs of the pupils and the teacher before being asked.

  • Measure of Success: Impact. We value staff who make our values visible in every learner.
  • The Environment: A broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum where access is free and equal for all.
  • The "Messy" Factor: You must be 100% comfortable with messy play, outdoor learning, and the general whirlwind of an EYFS classroom!

Key Requirements

  • Qualification: You must hold a recognised EYFS/Childcare qualification that covers you to work with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Availability: Full-time commitment is essential (Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30).
  • Character: Proactive, intuitive, and a champion of academic and social accomplishments.

Benefits of working with Tradewind:

  • Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
  • Virtual registration for a streamlined and efficient process.
  • Free access to 2,500 CPD courses and resources via The National College
  • Online time sheets for easy and quick submission
  • Top rates of pay, PAYE (no Umbrella companies)
  • Opportunity to experience a range of placements in schools local to you.
  • Flexible work to suit your schedule, with daily supply and long-term option.
