Behaviour Mentor - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school environment in Lewisham on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis.

The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning by:
Working 1:1 and in small groups with students displaying challenging behaviour
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour strategies
Assisting students to reintegrate into lessons and build positive relationships
Collaborating closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads
Acting as a positive role model and consistent support figure for students
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role is essential
Experience working within secondary school settings
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people
