Are you thinking about becoming a secondary school teacher - but want real, first-hand classroom experience before committing to teacher training?
Or maybe you're a graduate, youth worker, tutor, or have experience working with young people and you're curious about life in a secondary school?
We work closely with secondary schools across Salford and are currently looking for aspiring teachers to join us as Cover Supervisors, supporting schools on an ad-hoc, flexible basis.
What is a Cover Supervisor role?
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when a teacher is absent, delivering pre-set work and helping keep students engaged and on track. You're not expected to plan lessons or mark work - this role is about gaining confidence, experience, and insight into secondary education.
