Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Tutors to provide face-to-face academic support to students across Key Stages 2 to 4 in the North Lincolnshire area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with learners who may need additional support to re-engage with education, build confidence, and make progress in core subjects.
Tutoring may take place in schools, alternative provisions, or local community settings, depending on the needs of the learner. Roles are flexible and can be tailored to suit your subject specialism, experience, and availability.
The Role:
As a Tutor, you will:
Deliver face-to-face tuition to students in KS2-KS4
Provide tailored, engaging lessons aligned with individual learning needs
Support pupils who may have SEN, SEMH needs, or gaps in learning
Build positive relationships to boost confidence, motivation, and engagement
Track progress and adapt sessions to support academic development
Work independently while liaising with schools and support teams as required
The Ideal Tutor Will:
Have experience teaching or tutoring within KS2, KS3, or KS4
Be confident delivering one or more core subjects (English, Maths, or Science)
Demonstrate a calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
Hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or relevant tutoring/teaching experience (desirable, not essential)
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Pay:
£20 per hour, depending on experience and subject specialism
