Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Teachers to work on an ad-hoc basis within KS1 and KS2 SEN schools in Scunthorpe. The schools support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Learning Disabilities, providing structured, nurturing environments where every child's individual needs are understood and valued.

The Role:
As an Ad-Hoc SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, tailored lessons for pupils with Autism and Learning Disabilities
Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 in their academic, social, and emotional development
Work closely with SEN teams to implement individual learning plans
Promote positive behaviour, social interaction, and emotional regulation
Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each pupil
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualifications
Have experience teaching pupils with Autism or Learning Disabilities (desirable but not essential)
Be flexible, patient, and able to respond to individual needs
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
Have the legal right to work in the UK
