Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Brackley to appoint an Unqualified English Teacher starting in February or April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive English department where you'll be encouraged to develop your teaching skills and confidence in the classroom.

The Role Will Involve:

  • Supporting and delivering English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using established schemes of work

  • Helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and comprehension skills

  • Providing small-group and one-to-one support, particularly for literacy interventions

  • Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting enrichment opportunities such as reading programmes, creative writing activities, or debate clubs

This Opportunity Is Ideal For:

  • English graduates or candidates with strong subject knowledge

  • Cover supervisors, teaching assistants, tutors, or instructors looking to progress

  • Individuals considering teacher training pathways such as PGCE, SCITT, or School Direct

  • Confident communicators with a positive and adaptable approach

  • Candidates with experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable, not essential)
