A friendly and forward-thinking secondary school in Brackley is seeking an enthusiastic English Instructor to join their team from February or April 2026. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for tutors, instructors, or unqualified teachers who enjoy working with secondary-aged learners and want to be part of a supportive school environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4, following established schemes of work

  • Support pupils to develop strong literacy, writing, and comprehension skills

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs, including SEND and SEMH

  • Work collaboratively with subject teachers and pastoral staff to support student outcomes

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom atmosphere

About You:

  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school, tutoring, or alternative provision setting

  • Confident classroom presence with clear communication skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to student progress

  • A degree in English or a related subject is desirable, but not essential
