Science Teacher - Long-Term Supply Opportunity in Wigan
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Wigan on a long-term supply basis from after Easter until the end of the academic year in July.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher (QTS) or experienced unqualified teacher to work in a supportive, high-performing school environment teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.

The Role - Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
As a Science Teacher, you will:
- Teach engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics content in line with the national curriculum
- Plan, assess, and monitor student progress
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning
- Work collaboratively within a supportive Science department
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Science Teacher who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Can teach across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE experience desirable)
- Is confident with classroom management and engaging learners
- Is passionate, reliable, and committed to raising attainment
