Female PE Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Female PE Teacher on behalf of this Client, a successful secondary school with a strong reputation for both academic achievement and student wellbeing. This is a full-time maternity cover role starting March, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with interviews being arranged immediately.

The Role

• Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons
• Promoting health, fitness, teamwork and resilience
• Full-time timetable as part of a supportive PE department
• Start date: March (maternity cover)

Job Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching PE at secondary level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Qualifications & Person Specification

• UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS
• Proven experience teaching PE across KS3 & KS4
• Enthusiastic, proactive and well-organised practitioner
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Passionate about sport, fitness and student development
