Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Female PE Teacher on behalf of this Client, a successful secondary school with a strong reputation for both academic achievement and student wellbeing. This is a full-time maternity cover role starting March, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, with interviews being arranged immediately.
The Role
- Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons
- Promoting health, fitness, teamwork and resilience
- Full-time timetable as part of a supportive PE department
- Start date: March (maternity cover)
Job Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Qualifications & Person Specification
- UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS
- Proven experience teaching PE across KS3 & KS4
- Enthusiastic, proactive and well-organised practitioner
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about sport, fitness and student development
